Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Mrs Barrett,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing regarding your advertisement that you need help with your home. It caught my attention.

To begin with, I am a currently homecare student, and I have good knowledge in this field as well. Moreover, I have a bit of experience in this profession, including daily living activities, kitchen work, laundry, bed making, and many others.

On the other hand, I would like to work in this field because I want to gain more knowledge at the work and also It would help me in the future to get a job. Also, I enjoy helping someone who really needs help.

In light of the information, I am only available on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at any time. I study on weekends; that is why I can not work on those days.

I greatly appreciate your time and contribution on this matter. I would be glad if you could provide me with further information regarding the advertisement. I look forward to your response.
