Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: suggesting how you can help, explaining your motivation, and detailing your availability. The tone is generally appropriate for a letter of application. However, the development of ideas is somewhat basic. For instance, while you mention helping with children's assignments, expanding slightly on your academic strengths or specific household skills would have made the response more persuasive. The letter covers all requirements, but the ideas could be more fully extended to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The letter is logically organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points easily. You use basic cohesive devices like 'for my availability' and 'this will also help'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes a bit mechanical, and the transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs could be smoother. The use of paragraphing is appropriate for a formal letter, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the offer of help to the logistical details of your availability.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your meaning clearly, such as 'formally express my interest' and 'favorable response'. However, there are some minor inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'meets well with you' (should be 'finds you well') and 'solve yours children assignments' (should be 'help with your children's homework'). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise control over common English collocations to reach a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'I want formally express' (missing 'to'), 'for two month' (should be 'months'), and inconsistent capitalization of 'i'. Additionally, the punctuation in the final paragraph is slightly informal. While you attempt complex structures, the frequency of these minor errors prevents the writing from being considered highly accurate. However, the meaning remains clear throughout the letter, which is a positive aspect of your writing.
