Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

Dear Mrs Barrett

I hope you are doing well. i am Sachin Kalra. I have just seen your advertisement that you need someone to help you in your home in the upcoming summer for few hours a day. i think i am good fit for this.

First of all, i am from the same town as of your, so there wont be any issue regarding the commuting.

Moreover i have worked with a moving company in the past, so i am a professional mover and i will handle all of your things properly with care.

Furthermore, being an student, i will be on my summer break at that time and thats why i am looking for a side hustle to earn some extra money so that i could manage my expenses properly.

Last but not least, i am quite flexible with the availability as well as i will be available monday to saturday 8am to 6pm everyday for my summer break. i wont be available on sundays and public holidays.

i really hope that you would give me a chance to help you.
