IELTS Writing Task 1 question

Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Mrs Barrett,

Dear Mrs Barrett,

I hope you doing well. I am writing this latter to inform you about my availability to help you for your house, as I have seen your advertised.

Firstly, It is an exciting thing for me that we live in the same town now. I am currently working as a professional mover. I work at a reputed company of our town for now almost 2 years. So I will help out with many things such as, set up your main hall area, arranging heavy stuff in your kitchen, and most important your room. I will do that for free. Instead of that I want to learn several thing English language, as I am not fluent in English, Additionally, I need to improve my vocabulary knowledge as much as I can.

Lastly, next summer I will be able to work on weekends, because I work in weekdays. If there is some changes in my schedule at that time, I will let you know before.

I look forward to meet you next summer. Thank you for your attention.
