IELTS Writing Task 1 question

Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Mrs Barrett,

Dear Mrs Barrett,

I am writing this letter to express my interest in one of the advertisement I saw to assist you in household chores in next summer.

I can help you different ways such as a cleaning house, preparing food for you and your family, also if you have a children at home I can guide them in daily activities. In addition to that, If you want to do yard sale, I am well to organized things, I can do that as well.

I would appreciate if you choose me to do that work, as I am a housewife who loves to do housework, also I am free in next summer, so I would love to contribute my work for you.

I can join you from June because I am out of town in May due to family gathering. If you allow me, I will join you to the following month of May.

I will look after for your response.
