Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: suggesting help, explaining your motivation, and clarifying your availability. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter to a prospective employer. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat basic. For instance, while you mention helping with 'meal preparations' and 'mobility', these points could be expanded slightly to show how you would specifically add value. The letter is clear and the purpose is well-defined, meeting the requirements of the task effectively. To reach a higher band, ensure that your explanations are slightly more detailed and persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is logically organized with clear paragraphing, which helps the reader follow your points easily. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', 'Moreover', and 'Lastly' to transition between ideas. While these are functional, they are somewhat mechanical and repetitive. To improve, try to vary your linking words and use more sophisticated referencing (e.g., 'This arrangement would allow me to...'). The progression of ideas is logical, moving from the offer of help to your reasons and finally to your availability, which makes the letter easy to read.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'advertisement', 'consideration', and 'mobility'. However, there are some minor inaccuracies in word choice and collocation. For example, 'house keeping helper' should be 'housekeeping assistant' or 'domestic helper', and 'I am good chef' is missing an article ('a good chef'). You also use 'in morning time', which is slightly unnatural; 'in the mornings' would be more idiomatic. While your vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly, it lacks the variety and precision required for a higher band score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and compound sentences. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'I am interested to help you' (should be 'interested in helping'), 'assist you for my meal preparations' (should be 'with'), and 'I feel grateful to spend' (should be 'I would be grateful for the opportunity to spend'). Punctuation is generally fine, though there is a stray period in 'Lastly. I would like...'. While these errors are noticeable, they do not impede communication. To improve, focus on preposition usage and gerund/infinitive structures after adjectives like 'interested'.
