Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Mrs. Barrett,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing in response to your advertisement regarding looking a person to help you in household chores for few hours a day next summer.

I can assist you in number of household tasks such as grocery shopping, making meals, cleaning, laundry, ironing clothes and organizing home efficiently. Moreover, I am quite good in gardening, so I can also help you maintaining your garden well.

I am particularly interested in this work because I am extremely well in household jobs and from next summer, I am going to continue my studies and therefore require part-time and flexible work to cover my expenses.

Regarding my availability, I would be free on weekends and during weekdays, I can come after 4pm to serve you. If this does not suit you, please let me know which schedule can work for you, I am happy to adjust.
