Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: suggesting how you can help, explaining your motivation, and clarifying your availability. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention gardening and organizing, you could have provided more specific details about your experience or how you intend to assist Mrs Barrett to make the letter more persuasive. The response is clear and fulfills the requirements of the task effectively, though it lacks a bit of depth in the explanation of your motivation for wanting the work.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'additionally' and 'however' (implied), which help the flow of information. However, the paragraphing is insufficient; the entire body of the letter is contained in one large paragraph. To improve, you should separate the different points—such as your skills, your motivation, and your availability—into distinct paragraphs. This would make the letter much easier to read and follow. Referencing is generally clear, but the transition between ideas could be smoother with more varied linking words.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'advertisement', 'household work', and 'availability'. There are some minor inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'priorly' (which is not standard English; 'in advance' or 'beforehand' would be better) and 'every women' (should be 'every woman'). You also use 'house-help' and 'kitchen stuff', which are slightly informal. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise collocations and avoid repetitive phrasing. Overall, the vocabulary is sufficient to communicate your message clearly without any significant misunderstanding.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'for few hours' (missing 'a'), 'since last few years' (should be 'for the last few years'), and 'I have an experience' (experience is uncountable here). While these errors are noticeable, they do not impede the reader's understanding of your message. You have attempted some complex structures, but the control over them is inconsistent. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles would significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
