Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

Dear Mrs Barrett,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter in réponse to your advertisement regarding house work.

I would like to help you in the kitchen and other household chores such as , cooking , cleaning and laundry. Moreover, I can also do the dishes and organizing thing around your house. I love to help in folding and ironing clothes as well.

I am a homemaker and enjoys working in the house. It has been ten years, I am doing this job. With this much of experience, I have learned many different skills to make my work better and faster. And I believe that I will enjoy working with you and will get a chance to learn English language.

My children are grown up now and are able to do their work in the house . Therefore I have enough time to help you with your house work. I will be available for atleast 5 hours a days in summer time.
