Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

Dear Mrs Barrett,

Hope you are doing well. I am writing to you regarding my availability to work for a few hours a day in coming summer.

Regarding the work, I am a very flexible, time punctual, cool and calm person. I could help in house chores, gardening, washing and folding cloths etc.., I have a four to five years of experience in these work and I would provide any professional reference from my recent house chore job. I used to work as a baby sitter and a dog sitter and I can assure you that I could also help you to take care of babies and dogs as well.

I am a student and pursuing my masters degree, I would like to do this job as a part-time to earn some money for my regular daily expenses such as daily maintenance and for my college fee. It could help me to buy my routine needs and also helps me to survive until I get the full time job.

Finally, as I mentioned that I am a student, I would need to spend my quality time in studies, however, I am available in summer time especially in the evenings and weekends because I have a special classes in the morning time in coming summer.
