Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Mrs Barrett,

I am writing this letter to you because I saw that the english lady who is staying in your city has posted for one household helper for few hours a day in next summer.

I have studied upto tenth grade only but I have a strong hold on speaking different languages because I used to be a tourist guide few years back, so it would be really easy for me to assist her as there will be no communication issues.

From last years, I am staying in my village only as my parents are getting old and they need someone to help them in their everyday routine. Due to this reason, I would say as I do not have any plan to leave the village, I can help her in whatever way she wants me to help her, also I can help her in a better way as I have the experience of working in a small town and big cities.

Moreover, just want to tell that I would be available throughout the day to help her, but it would be difficult to help her during night time. Although, if someday she needs help during that time I would definitly try to be there.

I am looking forward for a positive response from you and want to thank you in advance.
