IELTS Writing Task 1 question
Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.
Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter
- suggest how you could help her in her home
- say why you would like to do this work
- explain when you will and will not be available

Dear Mrs Barrett,
How are you doing? I'm writing this letter regarding the advert I saw, stating that you are looking for a domestic staff for a part-time work. Since I'm currently on school break, I will like to help you with do the work for you. I'm familliar with some household chores because I do them in my home.
Ever since my young age I have always wanted to get close to you because I admire you a lot, your personality, style and most importantly, your fluency in English. I know doing this work for you will give me a little chance to talk with my role model.
My school is currently on vacation. I'm supposed to be free but I have things to take care of at home. So I will be available on the weekdays, that' from monday to friday. Weekend is when my family get to spend sometime together so I won't be available on the weekends.
