Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

The response addresses the prompt only partially and misinterprets the core scenario. While you mention how you might help, why you want to do the work, and your availability, you misunderstand the nature of the job. The advertisement asks for someone to help in a home (such as household chores or general assistance), but you write about helping with advertisement material and working in an advertising company. This misunderstanding prevents you from fully answering all parts of the task appropriately. To reach a higher level, it is essential to read the prompt carefully and ensure your ideas directly match the specific context provided in the task instructions rather than drifting into unrelated professional experience.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is some basic organisation with paragraph breaks used to separate your points, but overall progression is lacking. The connection of ideas is frequently mechanical or unclear, and transitional phrases are often used inaccurately, such as starting a sentence with 'Hence, its boost up'. Paragraphing is attempted, but ideas within the paragraphs do not always flow logically from one to the next, making the letter feel disjointed in places. To improve coherence, you need to use cohesive devices more naturally and ensure that each paragraph builds logically on the previous one to guide the reader smoothly through your message.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. There are noticeable lexical errors, such as 'advertisement material' instead of advertising, 'intersest', and 'its boost up', which stem from issues with word form and collocation. While you attempt some less common vocabulary, the inaccuracies occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. To achieve a higher score, you should expand your range of vocabulary, pay closer attention to correct word forms and spelling, and ensure that your phrasing accurately reflects natural English collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Your sentence structures are limited, consisting mainly of simple sentences and basic complex forms. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the letter, including tense inconsistencies, missing articles, and subject-verb agreement issues, such as 'we have make a good title', 'we highlights the bullet points', and 'I spend some time my studies'. These frequent errors can cause difficulty for the reader and restrict your score. To improve your grammatical range and accuracy, you need to practise using a wider variety of complex structures while maintaining tighter control over basic grammatical rules and punctuation.
