Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you describe help with cooking, cleaning, gardening and driving, explain that the work would build your profile and let you learn about other countries, and give weekday and weekend hours. These details make your application relevant and understandable. However, some parts are less fully developed than others. The reasons for wanting the job are brief, and the availability information does not say whether there are any days or times when you cannot work. The opening also refers to an “associate” rather than directly presenting yourself as the applicant. To strengthen the letter, explain your motivation more personally and state any specific periods or days when you are unavailable.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a clear overall arrangement: it introduces the application, describes relevant experience, gives reasons for applying and availability, and closes politely. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and linking expressions such as “Additionally” and “Apart from all these jobs” guide the reader through your points. Some connections are mechanical or unclear, however. The second paragraph repeats the idea of experience, while “Apart from all these jobs” introduces driving without clearly explaining how it relates to the advertised role. The availability is also presented as two separate statements joined by “And.” Use more natural transitions and group related skills together, then make the final paragraph a concise, clearly connected statement of motivation and availability.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for a domestic-work application, including “hands-on experience,” “culinary herbs,” “operate” and “job profile.” These choices communicate your skills and show attempts to use less common language. Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “associate,” “homemaker cum driver,” “worked with many foreigner,” “depth knowledge” and “Indian floras.” There are also spelling and spacing issues in “Barret,” “vaccum” and “house hold.” These do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points, but they reduce precision and naturalness. Prefer straightforward, conventional expressions—for example, “household assistant,” “extensive knowledge of” and “foreign clients”—and check spelling and compound words carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple sentences and some longer structures, including “I am writing in reply to your job advertisement where you mentioned…” and “Working with foreigner will enhance my job profile.” Most ideas remain clear, but some grammatical errors recur. Examples include the missing article in “in need of associate,” the plural issue in “many foreigner,” and the construction “I am really interested for this job.” The sentence beginning “And in weekends” is also awkwardly connected to the previous sentence, and “its also” needs an apostrophe and a clearer sentence structure. Practise articles, plural forms, prepositions after adjectives, and sentence boundaries. A careful edit of these patterns would improve accuracy while preserving your range of sentence forms.
