Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three points in the prompt: you offer help with meals, cleaning, laundry and groceries; explain that you want part-time work and would prefer earning money to sitting idle; and give availability for weekends and weekday afternoons. The letter is relevant and its purpose is clear. Some details are less fully developed, however. For example, “plenty of time in the evening” is not quite consistent with being available on weekdays only after 2:00 pm, and you do not specify when you would be unavailable, such as particular dates or periods next summer. Clarifying these limits and giving a more polished reason for wanting the role would make the response more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The information is arranged in a sensible order: you introduce the advertisement, describe the help you can offer, explain your motivation, and then set out your schedule. Paragraph breaks make the main sections easy to identify, and phrases such as “Other than this” and “On weekdays” help guide the reader. The progression is generally clear, though some linking feels mechanical, and the schedule could be expressed more precisely. For instance, “As, I am student” is an awkward transition into your availability, while “Hope this schedule wil suit you” is abrupt. Use a more natural link, such as “Regarding my availability,” and close with a complete, courteous sentence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the practical details, including “evening meals,” “cleaning,” “laundry,” “groceries,” and “part-time work.” The range is adequate for this letter, but several phrases are unnatural or imprecise, which limits the impression of flexible control. “A good helping hand” is understandable but not idiomatic in this context; “I could assist with household tasks” is more natural. “The advertisement given by you” and “giving my services” also sound awkward, and “sitting idle” may seem overly blunt when explaining your motivation. There are spelling and form slips in “wil” and “full time.” Aim for natural collocations and a consistently polite register.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple sentences and longer structures, and most of the message remains easy to understand. The list of tasks and the contrast between weekend and weekday availability are communicated clearly. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly in sentence openings and clause construction: “As, I am student” needs an article and should not have a comma after “As”; “I would rather sitting idle” requires “rather sit” or “rather be sitting.” In “after my college i am completely free,” the pronoun needs capitalization and the time relationship could be expressed more clearly. Punctuation is also inconsistent, including the missing space after “2:00pm.” More careful editing of these patterns would improve accuracy while preserving your clear meaning.
