Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You address the main purpose by offering help with household chores and explaining that you enjoy helping people. Your experience decorating rooms and setting up kitchens also gives a relevant reason to consider you. However, the response only partially covers the task: availability is stated as starting next Monday, but you do not explain when you will not be available, and the final sentence is unfinished. The offer to bring friends is not clearly explained or requested. Your reasons and proposed duties remain brief, so the reader has limited information about what you could do. The response is also 18 words below the required minimum. Add specific tasks, a clear reason for wanting the job, and both available and unavailable times.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The letter has some organisation: the opening responds to the advertisement, the next paragraph gives background and motivation, and the final paragraph begins to discuss availability. Basic links such as “So” and “Also” help connect points. However, progression is not clear throughout, and the final paragraph breaks off at “do their,” leaving the reader without a complete idea or closing. Some links are awkward or do not show the relationship precisely, such as “Along with that” before the point about being athletic. Use separate, focused paragraphs for your offer, motivation, and schedule, and complete each thought. A brief closing would also make the letter feel finished.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a range of relevant everyday vocabulary, including “household chores,” “decorating rooms,” “settling kitchens,” and “summer holidays,” so the reader can identify the general topic. There are also attempts at less basic expressions, such as “a different level of satisfaction.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural: “best option for you,” “day to day work of house,” and “good enough in physical work” do not express your meaning naturally. “Settling kitchens” is also unclear in this context. Spelling errors such as “Barett” and inconsistent capitalisation reduce accuracy. Choose familiar, precise phrases such as “help with household tasks” and “organise the kitchen,” and check spelling before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “as I regularly help my mother” and a time clause beginning “As I've my summer holidays.” This shows some effort to vary sentence forms. However, errors are frequent, and some sentences are difficult to follow. For example, “I'm writing this letter to you in response of your advertisement” has an incorrect preposition, while “As I've my summer holidays from next week so” has faulty construction and punctuation. Several sentences run together without spaces after commas, and the final sentence is incomplete. Practise building complete sentences with one clear main clause, and check verb forms, articles, prepositions, and punctuation. For example: “I will be available from next Monday, but not on …”
