Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you describe relevant experience that could help with household tasks, explain your motivation, and give weekday and weekend availability. Your hospitality background is a useful reason to consider you, but the actual help you could provide remains broad: “house hold activities” and “property maintenance” do not identify particular jobs such as cleaning, cooking, or shopping. The reason is also somewhat unclear because you say you want to help “not for pay,” without explaining more personally why this work appeals to you. Availability is specific, but you do not say when you will not be available. Develop these details and state any unavailable times explicitly to make the letter more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction and offer, a paragraph about your motivation, and a final paragraph giving your schedule. This makes the main information easy to locate, and the closing is appropriate. The progression is generally logical, though some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “The reason I would be interested to help you because” does not form a clear link between the reason and the offer, while “As requirement is only for few hours” moves abruptly into availability. The first paragraph also packs several ideas into a long block. Use clearer transitions and separate your experience from the specific tasks you can undertake; this would make the organisation more fluent and cohesion less noticeable.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “hospitality,” “experience,” “hygiene,” and “available,” and your meaning is generally understandable. There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “end to end property maintenance,” but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural, and spelling errors are noticeable: “advertisment,” “summar,” “maintainance,” and “protols.” Phrases such as “best practices” and “techniques” are repeated without clarifying what you would actually do, while “house hold activities” is imprecise. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and concrete household vocabulary. Proofreading spelling and avoiding repeated general phrases would make your range more effective and precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the reader can usually understand your main message. However, control is uneven, particularly in longer sentences. For example, “I have around 15+ years of experience in hospitality worked for major hotels” lacks a grammatical connection between the experience and the work history. In “The reason I would be interested to help you because,” the clause structure is incomplete, and “who takes care” does not agree with the plural “homestays.” Articles and prepositions are also sometimes missing, as in “in next summar” and “available post by work times.” Use shorter, complete sentences when needed, and check clause structure, agreement, and articles. More accurate complex sentences would improve clarity.
