Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you offer cooking and pet care, explain that you want to earn money for college and use your summer productively, and mention weekend availability. These ideas are relevant and the purpose of the letter is clear. However, some details are less fully explained than others. For example, “I can cook any kind of recipes” gives little indication of what household help you could provide beyond cooking, and your availability is unclear: you say you may not be available every weekend, but do not specify which days or times you can reliably work. State a clear summer schedule and develop the range of help you can offer to make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: you introduce your interest, describe possible duties, give your reasons, and then discuss availability. Paragraphing helps distinguish these points, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Apart from this,” and “Lastly” make the progression easy to follow. This meets the lower-band expectations and shows some features of stronger organisation. However, the transitions are somewhat formulaic, and the opening contains several ideas in one sentence. The closing also combines “Thanks” and “Best regards” awkwardly. Use simpler, more natural links between paragraphs, keep each paragraph focused on one purpose, and finish with one appropriate sign-off.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “part time job,” “higher education,” “culinary skills,” and “availability,” so the reader can understand your main message. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors make the letter less natural. Examples include “culnary skills,” “make my useful summer-breaks,” and “I am looking for you response soon.” Some phrases, such as “any kind of recipes,” are also imprecise. Build a bank of natural expressions for household duties, motivation, and scheduling, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More accurate, specific phrasing would make your meaning easier to read.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the reader can generally follow your message. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “I hope you finds” should be “I hope you find,” while “I am not be available” needs a corrected verb pattern, such as “I may not be available.” The sentence beginning “I want this job because” also becomes difficult to follow because its clauses are not balanced. Review subject–verb agreement and modal verb patterns, and divide long sentences into shorter, complete units. Accurate control of these common structures will make the letter clearer and more professional.
