It is noticed that the usage of plastic is increasing in daily lives. This can be harmful to the environment. Environment can be damaged in many ways by overuse of plastic. There are several measurable steps can mitigate this major concern.I will discuss both aspects in forthcoming paragraphs.

Considering the first question, plastic can have negative impact on soil and marine lives both.To elaborate this , people mostly dump the garbage including some plastic things directly on the ground.this kind of habit can damage soil.Consequently ,fertility of soil will decrease drastically and make soil nutrition deficient. And it can impact growth of plants. As a result, human and animals will not able to get enough nutritions from the plant.Furthermore , the unethical behaviour of commercial entities can be also damage environment by throwing plastics in water bodies such rivers and seas. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, identifying environmental damage and proposing solutions for both governments and individuals. The ideas are relevant, such as soil degradation and marine pollution, and the solutions provided are logical. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat basic. For instance, the explanation of soil nutrition deficiency is a bit repetitive, and the solutions could be more deeply explored with more specific examples. The position is clear throughout, but the essay would benefit from more sophisticated supporting evidence to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Consequently', 'Furthermore', and 'However', but they are sometimes used mechanically or with minor grammatical errors (e.g., 'To elaborate this'). The progression of ideas is generally clear, though the transition between sentences can occasionally feel abrupt. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the problem from the solutions, which helps the reader follow the argument. Overall, the structure is coherent, but the flow could be improved with more varied and natural linking phrases.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the student to communicate their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'commercial entities', 'marine lives', and 'nutrition deficient'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'make important role' instead of 'play an important role' and 'dumping throwing plastic'. Some phrasing is repetitive, and the range of vocabulary is somewhat limited. To improve, the student should focus on learning more precise collocations and avoiding basic errors in word form.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including missing articles (e.g., 'in daily lives', 'in water bodies such rivers'), subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'there are several species extinct'), and punctuation errors. Some sentences are grammatically incomplete or awkward, such as 'To conclude that infertility and threat to marine creatures are main concerns cause by plastic.' These errors are noticeable but do not typically impede communication. More attention to basic grammar rules and sentence construction is needed.
