Polythene is become very popular owing to cheap amount and easy availability but this material ruined the environmental factors. This essay will discussing about numerous damages which is happening globally and various steps to solve this problem.

To commence with, the major harm which is affecting to the environment is land pollution. As per example some industries and factories throw the plastic items into the soil so this activity reduce the soil fertility and because of this crops will not gain the proper nutrition. Moreover , when the plastic garbage got fire it produces methane gas into the air which ultimately cause air pollution. In addition , the crops of vegetables and fruits are not fulfil from vitamins and nutrition and also they do not taste like natural one.

This is the curable thing but for this government and all the individuals should take the equal part. So, the primary step is that the government should make some strict rule for business companies which performed this type of hazardous activities. On the other hand every individual person give priorities to use the environmental friendly household stuffs. All the factory owner must follow the strict rule otherwise government should take legal actions against the company. Government should publish the ecofriendly products which can be recycled after each use.

In conclusion, each and every person of the population should aware of this environmental damage and stand by the government on their steps towards this issues. If government banned the polythene production and manufacturing company follow the rules and create the harmless product which will be able to recycle than more than half of the problem will be solved.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, identifying environmental damage and suggesting solutions for both governments and individuals. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the explanation of how plastic affects soil fertility and crop nutrition is quite general and lacks scientific clarity. While the position is clear, the arguments could be more thoroughly supported with specific examples or more detailed reasoning to reach a higher band. The response stays on topic throughout, but the depth of analysis remains at a basic level.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To commence with', 'Moreover', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions feel mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'This is the curable thing'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear; for example, in the second paragraph, the connection between burning plastic and the specific impact on crop taste is not logically linked. Overall, the progression of ideas is evident, but the flow between sentences could be smoother.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There is some repetition of basic terms like 'plastic', 'government', and 'rules'. Some word choices are unnatural, such as 'cheap amount' instead of 'low cost' or 'affordable price', and 'household stuffs' instead of 'household items' or 'products'. While the meaning is clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, and there is little evidence of less common lexical items or sophisticated collocations that would be expected at a higher band level.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('This essay will discussing', 'plastic garbage got fire'), incorrect verb forms ('is become', 'is affecting to'), and article usage errors. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing around commas. While the errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to suggest a lack of control over more complex grammatical forms.
