First and foremost, Plastic cannot decomposed easily, and it can cause Greenhouse gas. To explain, Greenhouse gas affect animals, marine animals and human as well, It can cause many dangerous disease in humans and animals . For example,In recent study of IT University, They found that, 85% human being has affected by skin cancer and many of the domestic animals like cow and goat found stomach problem because they eat plastic and that harm their health. And not only humans and animals soils is also affected by plastic because recent study of scientist they found the soil pollution has increased by 60% more than past because of extreme use of plastic.
Governments can play an important role in reducing plastic pollution. They can introduce laws that restrict or ban unnecessary single-use plastic products, such as plastic bags and straws. They can also encourage companies to use recyclable or biodegradable packaging and impose higher taxes on businesses that produce excessive plastic waste. Another effective solution is to improve recycling systems and provide convenient recycling facilities in communities. For example, governments can introduce deposit-return programs in which consumers receive money back when they return plastic bottles.
Individuals also have a responsibility to reduce their plastic consumption. People can carry reusable shopping bags and water bottles instead of buying disposable ones. They can avoid products with excessive packaging, reuse plastic containers and separate recyclable waste properly. Although these actions may seem small, millions of people making these changes can significantly reduce the amount of plastic entering the environment.
In conclusion, plastic causes long-lasting pollution, harms wildlife and contributes to environmental damage. Governments should introduce stricter regulations and better recycling systems, while individuals should reduce their use of single-use plastics and adopt more environmentally friendly habits. A combined effort from both governments and citizens is essential to solving this growing problem.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, identifying environmental damage and suggesting solutions for both governments and individuals. The ideas are relevant and generally well-developed. However, the introduction is somewhat weak, containing grammatical errors and a slightly repetitive structure. The examples provided, such as the 'IT University' study, are specific but lack a formal tone. To reach a higher band, ensure that the introduction clearly outlines the essay's direction without grammatical slips, and ensure that all claims are supported with more sophisticated reasoning. The conclusion effectively summarizes the main points, maintaining a clear position throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each focusing on a specific aspect of the prompt. There is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the body paragraphs and the conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First and foremost,' 'To explain,' and 'In conclusion,' which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and the referencing in the first paragraph is a bit disjointed. Improving the flow between sentences within paragraphs would enhance the overall coherence of the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'biodegradable,' 'single-use,' and 'deposit-return programs.' However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'used of plastic' instead of 'use of plastic' and '85% human being has affected' instead of '85% of human beings have been affected.' Expanding the range of vocabulary and ensuring more precise usage would help elevate the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('85% human being has affected') and article usage ('animals soils is also affected'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some run-on sentences and unnecessary commas. To improve, the writer should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency. More variety in complex sentence structures would also be beneficial.
