Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this, eassy i will talk about how bags, bottels and wrappers made of plastic are not good for our environment with possible solutions can be made by counsils.
To begin with, plastic stuff damages our surroundings as they are non eco-friendly because they does not get recycled in environment due to substances they are made of. For example, i remember when i was in grade 8 my biology teacher took us in ground to show what happens when we tries to distroy plastic, they took some plastic trash, first tried to revoke it in water and soil but fails. In last they burned them what we saw was black smock coming out which was a pure pollution made air nearby bad with in few minutes.
More forward, governments should take a strict step to reduce the use of plastic. For which they can promote eco-friendly bag .under the subsidy programs they can give a good funds to individuals want to build a factories produces recycling bag, bottles and food wrappers. To illustrate, the hindustan news wrote an article on 25 april,2022 by zyx states in a beautiful city jaipur govt granted the industries making recycling products which resulted decrease by 46 percent of plastic carrybags.
To conclude, plastic bags, bottles, and wrappers are a serious threat to the environment because they are difficult to decompose and can cause air, soil, and water pollution. Therefore, governments and local councils should promote eco-friendly alternatives, provide financial support to recycling industries, and encourage people to reduce their dependence on plastic. By taking these steps, we can create a cleaner and healthier environment for future generations.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, identifying environmental damage and suggesting solutions for both governments and individuals. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The example regarding the biology teacher is anecdotal and lacks the analytical depth required for a higher band. While the solution regarding government subsidies is relevant, the individual's role is mentioned only briefly in the conclusion rather than being developed in the body paragraphs. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments would benefit from more detailed explanation and broader scope to fully satisfy the requirements of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with', 'More forward', and 'To illustrate', though some transitions are slightly awkward or non-standard (e.g., 'More forward' instead of 'Furthermore'). The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the referencing is occasionally mechanical. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the problem from the solutions, which helps the reader follow the argument. Overall, the structure is sufficient to maintain coherence throughout the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks sophistication. There are several instances of imprecise word choice, such as 'plastic stuff', 'revoke it', and 'good funds'. Spelling errors are frequent, including 'eassy', 'bottels', 'counsils', and 'smock'. While the student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'eco-friendly', 'decompose', and 'subsidy', the overall range is limited. The errors do not completely impede communication, but they are noticeable and detract from the professional tone expected in an IELTS essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the flow. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('they does not get recycled', 'what happens when we tries'), incorrect verb forms ('when we tries to distroy'), and awkward phrasing ('with in few minutes'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly regarding comma usage and spacing. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the response from reaching a higher band. More attention to sentence construction and proofreading for basic errors is necessary.
