In the modern era, it has become a huge task for the higher authorities to control the pollution which ultimately contributes to global warming. The things like bottles, bags and packaging made up of plastic are detriorating the condition of environment which certainly causes a lot of problems to everyone including humans, birds, animals and nature. This is the duty of every individual and policy-makers to take some steps to slove this problem. Tge upcoming paragraphs will discuss, how it is impacting the nature and what measures one should take to solve this issue.
To begin with, plastic is one of the main reason which contributes majorly for damaging the earth. For instance, people who buy the groceries and other household things are mostly wrapped in a plastic bags, and they do not dump it at the right places instead they throw in openly in the forests or on the road side due to which it creates number of problems as it do not bio-degrade with time, stays in the soil for years which ultimately creates numerous problems like new diseases, water pollution and so on. Another example is that what plastic waste factories produce, they are dumping it in the soil or in tge water, which leads to different environmental issues.
To solve this problem for our better future, everyone needs to play their role to get rid of this problem. Primarily, hamanbeings should start by following the muncipality's guidelines to throw plastic garbage at a certain place. Secondly, goverments should make some strict laws to enforce everyone to follow the rules such as imposing a fine to someone who is not following the policies, also if someone is repeating the same thing, one should be put in the jail to give a strong message to the others. Additionally, same kind of policies should be made for businesses like whichever company break the law should be imposed a fine and imprisonment as well.
To conclude, I would say everyone should take this problem seriously to tackle this issue for the betterment of our umpcoming generations.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both the environmental damage caused by plastic and proposing solutions for individuals and governments. The writer presents a clear position throughout the essay. Ideas are generally relevant, though some parts are slightly repetitive and under-developed, such as the brief mentions of water pollution and diseases without concrete elaboration. Examples are provided, such as people throwing plastic into forests or roadsides, which supports the main arguments. However, the development of ideas aligns more closely with Band 6 descriptors, as some aspects like factory dumping are introduced abruptly without sufficient extension. Overall, the prompt requirements are adequately fulfilled, though deeper analysis of the solutions would elevate the task response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs addressing separate prompt requirements, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate different ideas. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical, as seen in transitions like 'To begin with, plastic is one of the main reason...' and typos in linking phrases ('Tge upcoming paragraphs...'). Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as pronoun use referring back to plural or singular nouns ambiguously. While logical progression exists, the mechanical nature of the cohesive devices and minor structural errors place this criterion firmly at Band 6.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common terms such as 'deteriorating', 'policy-makers', and 'imprisonment'. However, there are noticeable spelling errors ('detriorating', 'slove', 'Tge', 'muncipality', 'goverments') and occasional word choice/collocation issues, such as 'throw in openly' instead of 'throw them openly'. Despite these slips, the vocabulary is sufficient to convey the intended message without significantly impeding communication, fitting the Band 6 descriptor well.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The writer demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting relative clauses and conditional structures. However, grammatical inaccuracies are frequent throughout the response. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('plastic is one of the main reason which contributes'), article omissions or misuse ('in a plastic bags', 'in the soil or in tge water'), and awkward phrasings ('whichever company break the law should be imposed a fine'). Punctuation and spacing errors also appear frequently (e.g., missing spaces after commas and periods). While communication is rarely impeded, the frequency of errors prevents the grammar score from reaching Band 6.5 or 7.
