IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Plastic bags, plastic bottles and plastic packaging are bad for the environment.

What damage does plastic do to the environment?

What can be done by governments and individuals to solve this problem?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

 

Student answer (Band 4.0)

In the contemporary era, plastic bags, bottles and packaging are injurious and damage to environment has become a subject of considerable debate. I am firmly convinced that this is negative and positive development. While this trend has drawback, I believe the, if plastic have bad impact on environment, but plastic can be recycled to produce many usefull products. This essay will discuss the key aspect of this issue and justify my position.

The most significant point to consider is that, plastic bottle, bags and packaging are bad for environment. This is primarily because, it is bad for health, and also for animals. A compelling example of this can be observed in many animals like, street dogs and cats are eating this, because they dont't no what they eat, in this way it is very bad for them.

In addition to above, another crucial factor is plastic bags, bottles and packaging has increasingly rapidly due to increase in population. The underlying reason for this is that, it can bad impression on environment. It has also bad impact on people lives. Meanwhile, it is bad for lungs, heart and for eyes. A compelling example of this can be observed in many hospital, because there is no cleaniness in local areas like, villages or small town.

Government should take strong action to seniter sector who dont come and take the plastic on time. Individuals also have to take step to clean their streets and throw plastic on one side.

To conclude, after analyzing the aforementioned points, it is clear that i see my patients in hospital related to this condition. This is largely due to plastic waste and bad impact on health.
