IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in a national newspaper which claims that town centres in your country all look very similar to each other. You don't fully agree with this opinion.

Write a letter to the editor of the newspaper. In your letter

• say which points in the article you agree with
• explain ways in which your town centre is different from most other town centres
• offer to give a guided tour of your town to the writer of the article

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to inform you that I am not agree with your point of view about Toronto downtown.

I usually like to read your articles and I read one of your article that you published last month. And you claim that all towns in Canada looks alike. There are few things like pharmacy and modern buildings look very similar, but not all of them.

Toronto's downtown is quite bigger than towns of Elora and Perth. There are several historical buildings in Montreal and Quebec, which makes them unique in compare to others. Apart from this transportation system is the most diverse thing in Canada. Like every city and state has different system. For example, Go and TTC is quite famous in Ontario, while SkyTrain or Seabus popular in Vancouver.

Summer session is going on, so I would like to offer you a guided tour of Toronto to next week as Its a long-weekend and I have work off. I think this will be helpful for your upcoming article.
