IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in a national newspaper which claims that town centres in your country all look very similar to each other. You don't fully agree with this opinion.

Write a letter to the editor of the newspaper. In your letter

• say which points in the article you agree with
• explain ways in which your town centre is different from most other town centres
• offer to give a guided tour of your town to the writer of the article

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear sir or Madam,

I am writting this letter to express my disagreement regarding your latest newspapper article, in which you mentioned that in my country all town centres looks identical.

First of all i am happy that some of points you written in the article were correct such as , design of these town buildings are inspired from the roman culture, for the interior used Italian marbles and furniture made from the same oakwood , I am totally agree with it.

But i want to divert your focus about my city town centre which is completely diffrent from the other cities of my nation. Firstly, in my city center has included massive shopping mall in which people can buy the clothes and household items. Moreover, It also has garden with the lighting fountain which is main attraction.

Due to thes diffrences i would like to invite you to take time from your schedule and come to my city i will provide you guided tour so you can believe it by yourself.

I hope you like my suggestioons I am waiting for your positive response regarding the tour.
