IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in a national newspaper which claims that town centres in your country all look very similar to each other. You don't fully agree with this opinion.

Write a letter to the editor of the newspaper. In your letter

• say which points in the article you agree with
• explain ways in which your town centre is different from most other town centres
• offer to give a guided tour of your town to the writer of the article

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir,

I am writing this to express disagree towards your recent article in a national newspaper. The article states that the town centres of my country are very similar to each other. I believe that the materials of town centres are the same. Hence, the architectural design and the story behind the town centres vary.

There are plenty of ways in which we can differentiate the town centres from each other. Foremost, the layout of town centres. The second thing is the amenities and facilities provided for visitors. The third thing is the interior that makes the town centre very unique.

In my town, there are 5 town centres. I would like to invite you to my town. If so, I can offer you a guided tour of all five town centres. As a consequence. You can get an idea how all are vary from each other.
