IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in a national newspaper which claims that town centres in your country all look very similar to each other. You don't fully agree with this opinion.

Write a letter to the editor of the newspaper. In your letter

• say which points in the article you agree with
• explain ways in which your town centre is different from most other town centres
• offer to give a guided tour of your town to the writer of the article

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

Last week I have read your article in national news paper which claims that all town centers in my country looks similar to each other, I am writing this letter to express my disagreement to this claim.

I have read full article and I am agreeing to some points you have mentioned in that such as my country is having diversified culture and people speak different language at different places and they all have their own cultures and beliefs.

There are various reasons of my disagreement to your claim for instance, in my country each town center has its own history and religious values. At each place people follow different Ideology , they have their own rituals and festivals along with this each place has it's own speciality which makes it unique from other.

I can provide you with guided tour and I can justify my arguments in better way.

Please let me know if you are interested and available for tour.
