IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in a national newspaper which claims that town centres in your country all look very similar to each other. You don't fully agree with this opinion.

Write a letter to the editor of the newspaper. In your letter

• say which points in the article you agree with
• explain ways in which your town centre is different from most other town centres
• offer to give a guided tour of your town to the writer of the article

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

I hope this email finds you well

I am writing this email regarding to your article published in news time last week named after abc towns .

To explain you in detail , I want to appreciate your efforts for writing about my town and other towns of this area . However, I do like the way you explained everything and also mentioned about facilities our town provides to its residents .

Although , our towns are similar but there are few things which differentiate our town . For instance , we recently inaugurated the open library in the heart of our town which no other town has . Besides this, our town is ranked as number 1 in last local votes and is known best for its infrastructure and facilities available for people.

In the end , I believe you should visit our town for a visit by which you can understand more about our town . We are looking forward to see you soon on this visit.
