IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in a national newspaper which claims that town centres in your country all look very similar to each other. You don't fully agree with this opinion.

Write a letter to the editor of the newspaper. In your letter

• say which points in the article you agree with
• explain ways in which your town centre is different from most other town centres
• offer to give a guided tour of your town to the writer of the article

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to express my dissent regarding your one of the article that states all of the city centers in India looks alike. Although, I am in favor of few statements mentioned in the writing, such as, similarities in the layout or designs of them as well as all of the downtowns are located in the heart of the city.

On the basis of evidence, the city center of my born city represents the historical statues including written information about the warriors of my own city whereas the town from where I am doing my Nursing showcase the historical background of their city. In comparison to city center where I am born and brought up to place where I am residing for study purpose, there is nil presence of street vendors and is more spacious.

It would be great pleasure for me to give a extended tour of my city. For this I need your warm approval and to fix schedule would be in your hand.
