IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in a national newspaper which claims that town centres in your country all look very similar to each other. You don't fully agree with this opinion.

Write a letter to the editor of the newspaper. In your letter

• say which points in the article you agree with
• explain ways in which your town centre is different from most other town centres
• offer to give a guided tour of your town to the writer of the article

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter regarding an article printed in your newspaper last week about town centres present in Hasting County.

Firstly, I have to say that aritcle has good details about locations of all nearby centres present in town along with detail of amenities present in it. Which i feel is very helfful for a traveller. Morover it also metions who built them and when it was constructed it kind of provide knowledge to people who are keen to know history. But one point on architecture of building catch my attention it says that external look and planning of all buildings are similar and I totally disagree with this as all centers were made in different time frame and follows various style. My city building follows Roman architect and has hotels and Trees inside while other cities don't.

I can totally understand writers point of view as he/she might not be local and has lack of information because of which I offer detail guided walk across city so he/she can get insight on town.
