IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in a national newspaper which claims that town centres in your country all look very similar to each other. You don't fully agree with this opinion.

Write a letter to the editor of the newspaper. In your letter

• say which points in the article you agree with
• explain ways in which your town centre is different from most other town centres
• offer to give a guided tour of your town to the writer of the article

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear sir,

i hope this letter finds you well, i just red your article in the newspaper which claims that town centres in my country looks similar to each other, but i dont fully agree with your article as the town centre near my house is verry different from other.

Eventually, at some point i agree with your article that most of the town centres look similar but in some ways the town centre near my hometown is different from others as it has more facilities, more oppertunities, resturants as compare to others. It has so many parks, rides etc.

i would be really happy to give you a guided tour of my own town for you to write an article and also with the help of your article all the people find different from others and more people will come and visits the town centre
