IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in a national newspaper which claims that town centres in your country all look very similar to each other. You don't fully agree with this opinion.

Write a letter to the editor of the newspaper. In your letter

• say which points in the article you agree with
• explain ways in which your town centre is different from most other town centres
• offer to give a guided tour of your town to the writer of the article

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter with partially agreement of an article in a national newspaper about your claim that the town centers in my nation looks same.

I am fully agree that color and interior design of each centers are same. Coffee shops and play ground area also almost similar in size. Apart from that many same branded stores are situated in all centers.

Although, there are many shops are similar, name of all centers are unique and different. In fact each location has various types of flower garden which enhance beauty of area. Each center has different historic monuments. Some of locations has international brand, youth store, cinema house, which make center separate from each other.

I would like to invite you in my locality and take you for visit of town center. I will be happy to serve you during your tour.
