IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in a national newspaper which claims that town centres in your country all look very similar to each other. You don't fully agree with this opinion.

Write a letter to the editor of the newspaper. In your letter

• say which points in the article you agree with
• explain ways in which your town centre is different from most other town centres
• offer to give a guided tour of your town to the writer of the article

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to inform you that after reading your article for my town , I am not fully satistfied with the information.

I agreed that the article beautifully explained the attractive street shops in the major town area along with some grocerry, food and cloth shops. However, There are some places that makes my town different from others. The main places are historical building, national parks and museums. Also, the most famous place is the Niagra falls which is the different and memborable place for all the tourists. Also, number of different resturants which serves different kind of food and most famous among the tourist.

I would be happy to provide you a guided tour of my attractive town which can help you to write your article in more effective way. Maybe, we could arrange a coffee meeting and make a plan which suits for both of us.
