IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You have just read an article in a national newspaper which claims that town centres in your country all look very similar to each other. You don't fully agree with this opinion.

Write a letter to the editor of the newspaper. In your letter

• say which points in the article you agree with
• explain ways in which your town centre is different from most other town centres
• offer to give a guided tour of your town to the writer of the article

Dear sir or Madam,

I am writing the letter to inform you that i read an article on the national newspaper which illustrates that our town centre facilities and services are same with other centres which i do not like it and i would like to write my opinion.

The article provides whole information about our village centre and there are many points in the article where I fully agree. Firstly, it mentions about various re creational activities will held every weekend for different age groups which is benefical for us and helps to develop strong relationship with others. Additionally, i like about fitness equipements provide by authority which helps to engage us in physical activities and mentally strong.

I have some suggestions to improve our town more so that it looks different form others. I believe that introduce some modern and classic style music in the evening which entertain our town people and feels them more refresh after their work. Apart from this, organize a clubs according to the age so that every one can participate express their views which ultimately helsp to boost up their confidence level.

I also like to request you please offer a one guided tour in our town which write the new article and which helps to create a public awareness in others so that many people can come and join our centres.
