Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my view points on your article listed on national newspaper and also like to illustrating my opinion on this topic.
As you mentioned, I agree that the town centres in my country looks similar because the major thing that makes them similar is skyscrappers as they are arising in every town centres which makes them similar to other cities.
If I talk about my city the town centre is way more different than others because it well planned in architectural ways as it is properly designed for commercial , residential and eductional sector which makes him different from other cities town centres.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you identify agreement with the article’s claim about similar town centres, describe your city as distinct, and offer the writer a guided tour. Your position is clear in “I agree” followed by “way more different than others,” so the letter responds relevantly rather than simply repeating the article. However, the explanation of what makes your town distinctive is under-developed: saying it is “well planned” for commercial, residential and educational sectors does not give a concrete feature or example. The agreement point is also quite general, focusing only on skyscrapers. Add specific local details and explain why they distinguish your town to make the ideas more fully supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an opening purpose, a paragraph responding to the article, a paragraph describing your city, and a closing offer. This makes the progression easy to follow, and the final invitation is appropriately placed. You also use basic links such as “As you mentioned,” “because,” and “so that” to connect ideas. To move further, make the relationships between points more precise and avoid relying on a sequence of broad statements. For example, the transition “If I talk about my city” signals a change of focus, but the following explanation would benefit from a clearer link between the city’s planning and a specific difference from other centres. More deliberate paragraph development would strengthen cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “town centres,” “skyscrapers,” “architectural,” and “guided tour,” and your meaning is generally understandable. There are, however, noticeable errors in word choice, spelling and collocation that limit precision. “View points” is less natural here than “views” or “opinions,” while “article listed on national newspaper” is an awkward phrase. “Skyscrappers” and “eductional” are misspelled, and “commercial, residential and educational sector” needs more natural phrasing. Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than adding formal-sounding words. For instance, describe distinctive buildings, local businesses or public spaces using precise vocabulary that supports your comparison.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause with “because” and a purpose clause with “so that.” The main message remains clear, but some grammatical errors reduce accuracy. In “the town centres in my country looks similar,” the plural subject requires “look”; “I am … like to illustrating” combines incompatible verb forms; and “I look forward to hear” should use a gerund after “to.” There are also problems with articles and sentence construction in “on national newspaper” and “because it well planned.” Review subject–verb agreement, verb patterns and article use, then proofread each sentence. More accurate control of these forms would make your ideas easier to read.
