Student answer (Band 6.0)

In these decades, most of people are willing to visit new places and different types of food. in order to others are more than happy to do their familiar things. In this essay, i will discuss both the perspectives followed my opinion.

One the one hand, due to globalization of the all countries, the people are more active than earlier and explore nature, new places as well as different kind of foods. The social media like You tube and tik tok will play a major role for this. As example, the Italian cuisine are more popular specially in the young generation and everyone like to try it one day. It may feels very comfortable, enjoyable and worth wise to be live. It may motivate to people to work hard, stay happy and healthy due to specially mental relaxation.

one the other hand, some people prefer to do regular food pattern and lifestyle due to their busy life pattern and low income. They have only money for the day to day expenses and the children's expenses.

In these people always think about their life hoe to improve without money. It may affect their mental wellbeing and physically.

In my point of view, instead money will play the major role of peoples life pattern, at least occasionally could be able to try different type of food pattern or one visit once a year could lead vast changes of their personal life.

In conclusion, Despite have some family problem like financially, in order to try occasionally special visit or different kind of cuisine may affect personally as well as whole society in positive way.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The essay addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the explanation of why people prefer familiar routines is brief and focuses heavily on financial constraints rather than psychological comfort or cultural preference. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and lacks a strong summary of the main points. To improve, you should expand on your arguments with more detailed examples and ensure that your position is consistently maintained throughout the essay. The response covers all parts of the prompt, but the depth of analysis is inconsistent, which aligns with the Band 6 descriptor.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'In these decades' and 'in order to others' are used incorrectly, which disrupts the flow of ideas. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the connection between social media and the desire for new experiences is stated but not smoothly linked. While there is an overall progression, the transition between sentences and paragraphs needs to be more natural and precise to reach a higher band.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'worth wise to be live' and 'regular food pattern'. Some phrases are repetitive, and there is a reliance on basic vocabulary. While you attempt to use some topic-specific terms like 'globalization' and 'cuisine', the overall range is limited. To improve, focus on learning collocations and more sophisticated synonyms to express your ideas more clearly and naturally. The errors in word choice do not completely impede communication, but they are noticeable.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('the Italian cuisine are'), article usage ('the people', 'the young generation'), and sentence fragments or run-on sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with capitalization and comma usage. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and article usage would significantly improve your score.
