Student answer (Band 6.5)

Some people believe that exploring new places and try new food and thing is good for individuals. However, others assume that people should only doing that thing with whom they are already familiar. In the subsequent paragraphs I will explain both attitudes along with the relevant example.

Commencing with the most prominent reason why it is good for folks to try new things? To be more precise, it is worth for people to explore new places because as in these days, due to workload they have a heavy stress on their mindset. So, by visiting new places this activity act aa a stress buster, which helps to relax their mind and bring the positive outcomes in their job. In addition, it would be beneficial for individuals to try thing. To be more clear, as learning is the source of knowledge. If masses learn driving or other skill that will helps in long run. Therefore, by trying visiting new places and doing unfamiliar thing helps to upbringing the knowledge.

Turning towards the flip side of this aspect, doing same thing assist to uprise the skill. To cite an example, according to the report of the survey, which was conducted in the year 2022 in YVR-4 revealed that 60 employees got high position in their field because they build their experience by doing same roll until become manager in the organization. As a result, doing same thing helps to build the experience and grow the career.

According to my viewpoint, I thing exploring the new places, food and thing create a different curiosity in the human instead of doing same thing in daily life.

In the nutshell, it is evident that trying new thing and visiting different places helps to change the pace of life. However, by doing the thing with whom people familiar helps to bring positive outcomes in work life and knowledge.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both sides of the prompt and provides a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention stress relief and skill acquisition for trying new things, and career progression for sticking to the familiar, the arguments lack depth and specific, convincing evidence. The example regarding 'YVR-4' is vague and does not clearly illustrate the point. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph provides a more detailed explanation and a more concrete, real-world example to support your claims. Your position is clear, but it could be more consistently integrated throughout the body paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In addition,' 'Turning towards the flip side,' and 'In the nutshell' (though 'In a nutshell' is the correct idiom). However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the connection between 'learning driving' and 'upbringing the knowledge' is slightly disjointed. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between ideas will help improve the overall coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, but it is often repetitive and lacks precision. Phrases like 'doing same thing' and 'try new thing' appear frequently. There are also some issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'upbringing the knowledge' (which is incorrect usage) and 'uprise the skill' (which is not standard English). To improve, try to use more precise synonyms and collocations. For example, instead of 'doing same thing,' use 'maintaining a routine' or 'adhering to familiar practices.' Expanding your range of vocabulary will allow you to express your ideas with greater clarity and sophistication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Examples include 'try new food and thing' (should be 'things'), 'people should only doing' (should be 'should only do'), and 'this activity act aa a stress buster' (should be 'acts as a stress buster'). There are also issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage. While these errors do not completely prevent understanding, they are frequent enough to affect the overall quality of the writing. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement will significantly improve your score.
