Student answer (Band 6.0)
few individuals preffer to try things which they never tried such as new type of food or visiting new places. However, some people likes to do the things they already tried. Both opinions will be discussed in upcomming pharagraph with my point of view.
To begin with, people who love to do advanture in there life they mostly visit the new places. They try new food when they go to some new places could be a nice exprience because eating same kind of food could be boring for them. Whereas, trying food from another culture can give individules new tast and flavoures. for example, a study of 2018 show us indian people are much more happy to try food from other states or other culture. In my point of view going to new places is exiting because that gives a new exprince and a lot of unforgetable exprinces.
Talking about the other side, no doubt visitng new places and trying new food gives a new experience . But, noone is sure about the experience would be good or bad . In other words, trying new food is quit risky because it may contain something that may be aligertic to someone and that can make the individule sick. It is commanly seen that people visting mountains from the plain area got sick or they have problem in breathing due to less oxygen over there . In my opinion , doing familiar things are much safe then tring new things.
In conclusion, trying new things gives new experience but are riskiy then doing familiar things

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the task. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention the benefits of trying new things and the risks of doing so, the arguments are brief and lack depth. For instance, the example regarding Indian people is vague and not fully integrated into the argument. To improve, ensure that each point is supported with more detailed explanation or concrete examples that directly relate to the prompt. Your position is clear, but the overall development is slightly superficial, which limits the score to a 5.5.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'To begin with' and 'Talking about the other side' are used, but the transitions between sentences within paragraphs are sometimes abrupt. Additionally, there are issues with referencing; the flow of ideas is occasionally disrupted by repetitive phrasing. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words more naturally and ensure that each sentence logically follows the previous one to create a smoother progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are frequent spelling errors, such as 'preffer', 'advanture', 'exprience', 'aligertic', and 'riskiy', which occasionally distract the reader. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with collocations, such as 'doing familiar things are much safe'. To improve, you should focus on learning the correct spelling of common words and expanding your range of topic-specific vocabulary to express ideas more precisely and naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('some people likes', 'study... show us'), article misuse, and incorrect word forms ('doing familiar things are much safe'). These errors are noticeable and sometimes require the reader to re-read to understand the intended meaning. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of comparative adjectives before attempting more complex structures.
