Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, although the conclusion is incomplete, which prevents a full development of the final stance. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of novelty for interpersonal skills and the comfort of routine for mastery. However, the development of these points is somewhat superficial. For instance, the example of social media influencers is a bit narrow. To reach a higher band, you should ensure that your arguments are more thoroughly explained and that your conclusion is fully articulated to summarize your position clearly.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices like 'Besides this', 'On the other hand', and 'In addition' to link your thoughts. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'some are counter claim with above notion'. Additionally, the abrupt ending of the essay significantly impacts the overall coherence, as the final paragraph is left unfinished. Improving the flow between sentences and ensuring a complete, well-structured conclusion would help improve this score.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'interpersonal skills', 'proficient', and 'fulfillment'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'gernes of activities' (likely meaning genres or types), 'are fear to try', and 'take part in the same activities'. Some of these errors occasionally make the meaning slightly less clear. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring that your word choices are contextually appropriate rather than just using synonyms that may not fit the sentence structure.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt to use complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('most of the social media influencer are visiting') and incorrect preposition usage ('used to with'). Punctuation is generally functional, but the incomplete final sentence makes it difficult to assess your control over complex structures at the end of the text. To improve, focus on basic subject-verb agreement and ensure that your sentence constructions are grammatically sound before attempting more complex forms.
