Student answer (Band 6.0)
Most of the individuals prefer to spend their precious time in exploring new places as well as restaurants. On the other hand, some just prefer to spend the valuable time in earlier places or cafes where they had already visited; However, I believe that visiting fresh places as well as restaurants contributes to enhance our knowledge related to other cultures as well as traditions.
On the one hand, exploring several range of new cafes and places are more likely to foster the individual's productivity level and broadens the horizon. As technology has advanced considerably, it provides access to vast number of restaurants. It facilitates everyone to get familiar with other's culture & customs as well as traditional beliefs. It not only foster person communication traits but also a good way to relax and refreshens the mind. In the contemporary era, despite the advancements, people are suffering more from everyday stressful and hectic life. Moreover, this is the way of experiencing some adventurous things. For instance, a recent study revealed that in last decades, the number of visitors have been increasing in unfamiliar areas which eventually helps in other communities.
Why do some people not want to explore unknown areas? One of the primary reason behind that is they simple do not want to waste their money and valuable time. They prefer to visit only those places where they are frequent customers instead of exploring other one. For instance, it has been seen that 20% people visit same places again and again which leading to the congestion or more pollution in that particular area.
In conclusion, although some people are against the view of exploring new areas However, I still believe that it enhance and broaden's our horizon level.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion in the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The first body paragraph attempts to explain the benefits of exploring new places, but the supporting points, such as 'foster person communication traits', are vague and lack depth. The second body paragraph regarding why people prefer familiarity is also underdeveloped; the link between visiting the same places and 'congestion or more pollution' is not clearly explained or logically connected to the prompt. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific examples and ensure your arguments are fully extended rather than just stated.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'On the one hand', 'Moreover', and 'In conclusion', to link your points. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as the misuse of the semicolon before 'However' in the introduction. Additionally, some referencing is unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used with precision will help you achieve a higher score in this criterion.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'contemporary era', 'advancements', and 'familiarity'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'exploring several range of new cafes' (should be 'a range of') and 'refreshens the mind' (should be 'refreshes'). There are also some minor errors in word formation, such as 'broaden's' instead of 'broadens'. While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. Focus on learning common collocations and checking word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('number of visitors have been increasing', 'it enhance') and incorrect article usage. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of semicolons and commas. These errors do not generally impede communication, but they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that complex structures are used accurately.
