Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years we have witnessed a pattern wherein some people like to visit new places along with different cuisines while others want to follow their routine which they are familiar with and doesnot like to change it. While I understand both the perspective but in my view humans are made to discover things rather follow the routine.
The best example here to consider is the discovery of India by Vasco De Gama. He left home in search of something different and found a country. Later on, people started visiting the country to see the heritage and different food items available. Nowadays, people specially who are content creators visit different places make a short film for their audience and aware them about the culture, food, living conditions, and climate of the place. This will not only help the area to attract more tourism but also help the creators to get sponsorship for making such videos in the future.
On the other hand, people who donot wish to explore and continue doing the things which are familiar to them are less likely ready to face difficulties in their life. For an instance, an average person who does corporate job would like to relax in their home after work followed by some work out, watching tv and sleep on time to wake up early next morning. They think the best way to live life is to hear and watch the experiences of other rather than doing by themselves. These people typically afraid to face difficult times in their life as they never faced them.
In my view, one should go out of their comfort zone and explore the world. The nature has given too much to human beings and the only way to find them is to explore and enjoy. At the end, we have seen things can be discovered only by trying but sitting at home will only show the mistakes that can be avoided during the exploration.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The example of Vasco da Gama is a bit tangential to the core topic of personal preference for new experiences versus routine. The discussion on 'content creators' is relevant but could be more deeply linked to the broader psychological reasons why people choose one lifestyle over the other. The argument regarding those who prefer routine is slightly over-generalized, suggesting they are 'afraid' to face difficulties, which limits the depth of the analysis. To reach a higher band, ensure that the supporting arguments are more balanced and directly address the prompt's focus on personal attitudes.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'In recent years', 'On the other hand', and 'In my view', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are a bit mechanical, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. For instance, the connection between the historical example of Vasco da Gama and modern content creators is somewhat abrupt. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, such as the use of 'them' in the final paragraph, which could refer to either the 'things' or the 'human beings'. Improving the variety and precision of cohesive links would enhance the overall flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'content creators' and 'comfort zone'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and minor collocation errors, such as 'aware them about the culture' (should be 'inform them about') and 'doing by themselves' (should be 'doing them themselves'). The range is sufficient to communicate, but it lacks the precision and sophistication required for higher bands. Expanding the use of topic-specific collocations would significantly improve the quality of the writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('doesnot like', 'people... visit... make... and aware'), missing articles ('an average person who does corporate job'), and awkward phrasing ('The nature has given too much to human beings'). While these errors do not impede communication, they are persistent throughout the text. To improve, the writer should focus on basic subject-verb agreement, correct article usage, and ensuring that complex sentences are constructed with greater accuracy.
