Student answer (Band 5.5)
A large number of people believe that the society members like to do new task and try new various cuisines. However, others claim that people should do only things with what they are familiar already. In the subsequents segments I will elaborate my view points along a relevant example and my own opinion.
Commencing with themes prominent cause why people like to visit new places? To be more clear, in order to relieve the stress folks like to visit different places that helps to wash their mentality from tiredness and stress of the daily life. Also, more and more people visit different places with their family to devote their quality time tooled ones which strength their relationship and bondings. In addition, to get proper nutrition and explore something new human like to try various types of cuisines that maintain the nutrition in the body along with this they get golden opportunity to taste new food.
Moving to paradoxical side, it is indeed true that people should prefer to keep doing things they are familiar with because in this contemporary era, scamming is getting advanced, sometimes people share their information which effect the privacy. Due to sharing the personal data hackers get a chance to misuse their information that harm the people's privacy. Because of this it is good to try the thing with people are familiar with.
In my own opinion, it is evident that it is good to try new thing because sometimes it become the valuable experience and great chance to change the taste of tongue. But, human privacy is more important rather than try something new.
In nutshell, it is clear in aforementioned domains by visiting number of places human can spend quality time with loved ones and release their stress. However, along with the enjoyments public information matter more because it contains lot of private data and just for one mistake the whole data can be stolen because of this people prefer to keep doing things they are familiar with.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument regarding 'scamming' and 'privacy' as a reason to avoid new things is a non-sequitur; it does not logically connect to the prompt's focus on trying new experiences like food or travel. The ideas are presented but lack the depth and logical progression required for a higher band. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments are not fully extended or consistently relevant to the core topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and unclear transitions. While cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'Commencing with', 'Moving to', 'In nutshell'), they are often used mechanically or incorrectly. The referencing is sometimes confusing, such as in the third paragraph where the link between 'familiarity' and 'privacy' is not clearly established. The progression of ideas is disjointed, making it difficult for the reader to follow the writer's line of reasoning throughout the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of awkward collocations and word choice errors, such as 'wash their mentality', 'tooled ones' (presumably meant 'loved ones'), and 'paradoxical side'. The range is limited, and the writer struggles to use less common lexical items accurately. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of sophistication and the presence of errors in word formation and collocation prevent a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include incorrect verb forms ('people like to do new task'), missing articles, and awkward sentence construction ('in order to relieve the stress folks like to visit different places that helps to wash their mentality'). Punctuation is also inconsistent. While the errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to cause some difficulty for the reader and indicate a lack of control over complex structures.
