Student answer (Band 6.0)
A some proportion of society believes that exploring the world and different cousins are interested but some proportion of society loves to be in their comfort home or food. According to my perspective, I want to discuss both views before to come on any conclusion.
First of all, exploring the world is very neccessary for learning. For example, every place and food have a cultural story. Like if you taste any Italian or indian food, your mind will be curious to know about the ingrediants and reciepe. By that you will be enhance your learning and cooking skills by making different dishes.
Secondly, it will teach you about distinct cultures and histories. For instance, if you explore country sides of Canada, then you can learn a lot about the farming, mills and old way of making fresh maple syrup or honey. With that, you can get knowledge about the hsitory of country by exploring old building like musems or churchs. These things will makes you more connected to your cultur and society.
On the flip side, few people believes that changes are not beneficial for them becuase they believe they will not be able to adapt the new weather or culture. Like, the ingredients of Canadian's food are not spicy but the chinese and indian food is really spicy. So, by that they do not feel comfortable to taste it, because they felt make be they get sick. Additionally, diferent weather of countries like maximum temperature of india in winter is 16 degree, where Canada's minimum winter temperature is minus 40 degree which is not easy to adapt by every age group people. So, they prefer to saty at their home countries to avoid these kind of challanges.
In conclusion, I believe after discussing both point of views. I think that its all about person's perspective and comfort zone but as a youngster I like to explore new places and food because it assist me to learn about other countries's values and properties.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the educational benefits of travel versus the comfort of familiarity. However, the development is somewhat uneven. The explanation regarding the challenges of adapting to new climates is a bit repetitive and lacks depth. While the position is clear, the essay would benefit from more sophisticated reasoning to move beyond a basic level of discussion. Overall, the task is addressed adequately, but the arguments could be more thoroughly extended to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First of all', 'Secondly', and 'On the flip side', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'By that you will be enhance your learning'. The progression of ideas is generally logical, but the flow between sentences could be smoother. The use of paragraphing is appropriate, and the essay maintains a coherent structure throughout.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is sufficient for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several noticeable errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'cousins' instead of 'cuisines', 'ingrediants', 'reciepe', 'hsitory', and 'musems'. These errors do not generally impede communication, but they demonstrate a limited control over spelling and word formation. The range of vocabulary is adequate for expressing basic ideas, but the student struggles to use less common lexical items accurately or effectively. More attention to spelling and collocations is required.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Examples include 'These things will makes you', 'few people believes', 'they felt make be they get sick', and 'it assist me'. These errors, particularly in subject-verb agreement and verb tense, are frequent. While the meaning is usually clear, the lack of accuracy in basic structures prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. The student attempts complex sentences, but they are often faulty, which limits the overall grammatical range and control.
