Student answer (Band 6.0)

As many individuals are there in societies who like to visit at different places and explore them self with different kind of food, culture etc. With this still there are few people who just want to keep themself with the well known things. In my opinion, to try the new chance is good option to enhance your knowledge.

As many such peoples are there in our community who eager to explore world. They often like to visit new places as well as wants to explore new things like distinct food taste, culture. Moreover, such people thoughts that it will help them to understand multiple concerns. Like living style, business strategies of different work place.

For instance, while people personally visit at some new location they get the chance to understand the platform and opportunities are not same for everyone in the world.

On the other hand, few individuals are also in our society who do not want to compromise with their comforts. Such personalities wants to stay with the pleasant things only. Moreover, such kind of people has usually narrow mindset. For example, people living in a particular village will thought that urbanism is not safe and good.

In my opinion, exploring the world is great scope of life. By interacting with the contrasting places, culture, people etc. helps us to interpret diverse mindset of the world. By look into the many alternative things at dissimilar level assist us to appreciate what we possess. we also start to reverence others culture and people. I also thought that by visiting numerous locations we can improve and enhance our knowledge. For instance, I visit the robotic camp as apart of my school trip. And that visit create a great enthusiasm to learn more about the robotics. Furthermore, I decided to choose engineering as my carrier.

In conclusion, I would like to say that visiting to the new location is the personal prospective. But if, someone is willing to visit than they should have to grab this chance and broaden their knowledge.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both attitudes and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of exploring new cultures versus the comfort of familiarity. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'narrow mindset' is a bit simplistic and could have been expanded with more nuanced reasoning. While the position is consistent, the supporting examples, such as the robotic camp, are slightly disconnected from the broader discussion of 'new places and food'. Overall, the response meets the requirements but lacks the depth of analysis expected for a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Moreover', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly repetitive. Additionally, there are instances where the flow between sentences is slightly disjointed, such as in the second paragraph where the transition from 'living style' to 'business strategies' feels abrupt. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the internal structure of the paragraphs could be more fluid to improve the overall progression of ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'urbanism', 'enthusiasm', and 'dissimilar', but these are occasionally used with slight inaccuracies in collocation or context (e.g., 'great scope of life' or 'reverence others culture'). Some word choices are repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'things' and 'people'. While the range is sufficient to convey meaning, more precise and varied lexical choices would be needed to reach a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay shows a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'such people thoughts', 'people... will thought'), article usage, and pluralization (e.g., 'many such peoples'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some sentence fragments and run-on sentences. These errors are noticeable and occasionally require the reader to re-read to grasp the intended meaning, though they do not completely impede communication. A greater focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy is recommended.
