Student answer (Band 5.0)
Now days life has become to fast and every now and then new things are getting invented, for suppose if we talk about food items.
New generation are now a days become very foodie and they like to try different types of food in different places and even they like try overseas food . Moreover if we see social media have played a vital role for new comers , such as vlogging in the restaurant exploring new cities in which people can get to know new place which they can bump into. Day by day things are becoming much easier for everyone to reach places because of social media.
Were as still some old generation still believe in all traditional food and they like to be in there on space. Moreover if we see they like to have old food reason that they keep themself still healthy and fit. They do believe if they change there routine it might effect there health reason of all new types of food and drinks. They believe that now days vegetables are not hygienic and not suitable for them. If we notice now in new generation they have all kind of disease for example they are over weight according to the age some have skin problems and much more so some people follow same as they use do.
As per my point of view we should follow old rules because of the health and good life. Yes i do believe that world has change and now days technology is to fast but still I prefer old way living .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both sides of the prompt and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that the new generation enjoys trying new things due to social media, the explanation is a bit repetitive. Similarly, the argument for sticking to traditional ways is based on health concerns, but the reasoning is underdeveloped and relies on generalizations about diet and disease. To improve, you should provide more specific examples or deeper analysis to support your claims. The position is clear, but the overall depth of the response is closer to the Band 5 level as it lacks a fully extended argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'Were as' is used incorrectly for 'Whereas', and 'for suppose' is not a standard cohesive phrase. The transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt, and the referencing (e.g., 'they' or 'there') is occasionally unclear, making it difficult to determine exactly who or what is being referred to. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words and ensuring clear pronoun references will significantly enhance the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally basic and repetitive. You rely on simple terms like 'new things', 'good', and 'food'. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'new comers' (likely meaning influencers or content creators) and 'there on space' (likely meaning 'their own space'). Additionally, there are spelling errors like 'effect' instead of 'affect' and 'there' instead of 'their'. To reach a higher band, you need to use a wider range of vocabulary, including less common lexical items, and ensure that your word choices are precise and contextually appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and some complex sentence attempts, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('life has become to fast'), incorrect preposition usage, and confusion between homophones (e.g., 'there' vs 'their', 'to' vs 'too'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar structures prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on sentence construction and proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy will be essential for improvement.
