Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is irrefutable that the way of living has been changed significantly in recent years because of modernization. It is often considered that some people have a strong desire to visit new worlds and have a number of cuisines. However, others still prefer to stay with their common things. I believe that excitement about new things should be a part of a person's life.
On the one hand, some youngsters claim that it is a worthwhile when they choose to explore different places and variety of food which gives a sense of excitement and satisfaction. The most common reason is to live life freely as they do not want to live their life with daily routines which make them exhausted and boring. For example, If a person is passionate to visit many places in many countries, definitely, he would come across various people of different religions. This sense will not only improve their knowledge but also reduce their stress. Along with this, they might get a chance to have a number of food options. Thus, this tendency should be prevalent among the people.
Other supporters still want to stay with familiar routine. In other words, their perspective are still stuck on traditional methods as they do not want to go outside because of comfort zone. Following this, they also consider that it is a entirely waste of time and money who intend to go on another places or spend money on food courts. Instead, they should understand the value of money which takes years to earn. Therefore, they deny to try new things.
To conclude, In my opinion, people should take risk to go on different places which definitely teach essential values and form deep bonds with other cultural people.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument for staying with familiar routines is underdeveloped, relying on a brief mention of 'comfort zones' and financial concerns without deep exploration. The conclusion is also quite abrupt and does not fully synthesize the points made in the body paragraphs. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your supporting examples and ensure that your reasoning is more thoroughly explained, particularly when discussing the opposing viewpoint.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'In other words', and 'To conclude' to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical or forced, such as 'Following this' to start a sentence. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear; for example, in the third paragraph, the phrase 'it is a entirely waste of time and money who intend to go' is grammatically disjointed, which disrupts the flow of the argument. Improving the variety and naturalness of your linking words will enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your meaning, such as 'irrefutable', 'modernization', and 'prevalent'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'have a number of cuisines' (instead of 'try a variety of cuisines') and 'common things' (instead of 'familiar routines'). There are also minor errors like 'a entirely waste' instead of 'an entire waste'. While these errors do not impede communication, they prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on learning common collocations to sound more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'it is a worthwhile when they choose' (article/noun usage), 'their perspective are' (subject-verb agreement), and 'they deny to try' (incorrect verb pattern). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but there are minor slips throughout. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and ensuring that your complex sentence structures are grammatically sound. The majority of your sentences are understandable, but the frequency of these small errors limits the score.
