Student answer (Band 6.0)
People have different attitude trying new things like restaurant, food and familiar shopping places. while some people want to live in their comfurt zone and do not want to give their energy on experiment. both the approaches have their marits. Although, i believe experincing a new things give as opportunity to grow in live and overall more benificial.
on the one hand, some people like to visit their familiar places so that they can get the same thing without struggling from the scratch. Most of the people avoide experincing new cuisins so that they can more confident on pricing and test, they prefer to go to the same restaurant and order same food so that they can get what they want, this behavior save their energy and time to invest seaching new things, similarly they want to the same cafe so that they can get the same vibe everytime while their work meeting or fresh their mood. this attitude help them to be thier comfurt zone without disturbing work schedule.
On the other hand, many individuals tent to come out from comfurt zone and experience numerous new things to grow them personally, they always prefer to try new food new restaurant and new places to get different knowladge and check the vibe, moreover these people always ready to take risk on their lifestyle so that they can learn something new. Additionally, trying a new things, new food introduce with diiferent tradition and culture.
In my opinion, although there is nothing wrong with enjoing familiar routine, people should try new things from time to time, for an example travelling to a new place give them new knowladge, which can help them overall growth, it is not nacessory to abandon family habits rather trying to balancebetween comfurt and always ready to experince new in life.
to conclude while familiar activities provide comfurt, trying new experiences offer greater opportunity, confidece and personal growth.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both attitudes and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the desire for comfort and predictability versus the drive for personal growth and cultural exposure. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited; the arguments are repetitive and lack specific, concrete examples to fully illustrate the points. For instance, the mention of 'travelling to a new place' is a good start, but it remains a general statement. To reach a higher band, the student should expand on these points with more detailed explanations or specific scenarios to demonstrate a deeper exploration of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is an attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'on the one hand', 'on the other hand', 'moreover', and 'to conclude'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as the transition 'Although, i believe' at the start of a sentence. Additionally, the flow between sentences within paragraphs is occasionally choppy due to grammatical errors and punctuation issues, which makes the progression of ideas feel slightly disjointed at times. Improving the variety and precision of linking words would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the student to convey their meaning clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'comfort zone', 'routine', and 'personal growth'. However, there are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'comfurt', 'marits', 'experincing', 'cuisins', 'knowladge', 'nacessory') and some awkward collocations (e.g., 'struggling from the scratch', 'fresh their mood'). The range is somewhat limited, and the errors occasionally draw attention to themselves, although they do not prevent the reader from understanding the main points. A more precise use of vocabulary and attention to spelling would significantly improve this score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but the control over these structures is inconsistent. There are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement, article usage, and sentence fragments (e.g., 'both the approaches have their marits', 'trying a new things'). Punctuation is also problematic, with several run-on sentences and comma splices that hinder the flow. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction limits the score. To improve, the student needs to focus on sentence boundary awareness and proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy.
