Student answer (Band 6.0)
There are two kinds of people, one who prefers to exploring new places, different cuisines and various culture on the other hand there are people who likes the familarities of life and do things the way it has been happening. In my view it is important that we try new things in life as it gives opportunity of getting a fresh prespective of things along with the comfort of routine.
To begin with some people likes to follow the same routine and do the same things as it gives them a sense of comfort, stability and peace of mind. Which in a way helps them in achieving their goals and keep them going in life for instance, people go to their favourite places everytime they feel low and experience a sense of belonging that helps them feel better.
On the other hand, there are people that loves the challenges that comes with experiencing new things like a travelling to new places, trying different cuisines and meeting new people. This is largely because it gives them the opportunity of learning new things, expanding their knowledge and intellectual capabilities. Take for example, people who are multilingual because of their acquaintance with people from various culture.
In conclusion, although familiarity gives comfort and feels at home i believe that people should sometimes explore and get new experience in life as it can give them a fresh prespective to things and life which benefits them with varsitality in every field whether its personal or professional.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that familiarity provides 'comfort' and 'stability', and that new experiences lead to 'intellectual capabilities', these points could be expanded with more specific, detailed examples to reach a higher band. The essay covers all parts of the prompt, but the supporting arguments remain at a general level rather than being fully extended. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph provides a more robust explanation of why these attitudes exist.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into four paragraphs, with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' to signal the structure. However, the flow between sentences within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical. For instance, the transition between the idea of 'multilingual' people and the previous sentence is a bit abrupt. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, such as the use of 'which' at the start of the second sentence in the second paragraph, which lacks a clear antecedent. Improving the variety of linking words would enhance the overall flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'multilingual', 'intellectual capabilities', and 'versatility'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'the familarities of life', 'getting a fresh prespective of things', and 'feels at home i believe'. Some words are misspelled, such as 'prespective' (perspective) and 'varsitality' (versatility). While the vocabulary is sufficient to communicate your ideas clearly, it lacks the precision and sophistication required for a higher band. Focusing on correct collocations and proofreading for spelling will help improve this score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the accuracy of the writing. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'one who prefers to exploring', 'some people likes', 'people that loves') and missing articles or prepositions. There are also punctuation errors, such as the lack of capitalization for 'I' and missing commas in complex sentences. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your meaning, they occur frequently enough to limit the score. You should focus on subject-verb agreement and consistent proofreading to ensure your complex sentences are error-free.
