Student answer (Band 6.0)
There is no doubt that every person has a different taste and preference regarding everything. Few individuals prefer to try new things like places to visit or kinds of food but few denizens like to keep doing things they are familiar with. I will discuss both views and my personal opnion in the following parragraphs.
On the one hand, people want to visit different places because they like to explore new places and they get chance to meet with new people on different locations. Moreover, they get chance to learn new languages in this way they become billingual. Most appropriate reason to go on different places is that they get chance to learn different culture and traditions so they enhance their knowledge not only about our country places but also get chance to learn new skills of different places and get chance try new food which they never eat. If they try new food than they also learn how to make other recepies which they don't know.
On the other hand, some people prefer to go on similar places because they are familiar with that places. They know all routes of that places in this way they easily travel on that places which they know. They like to spend their more time on that places because they connect more. For instance- my grandmother prefer to go sikh temple daily which is near my home because she connected with that place and she feel peacful whenever go on this place. People do not want to try new things because they feel they just waste money and time on new things. For instance if they purchase that kind of food which they never try than this is just waste of money.
In my opnion, people need to try different thinks like go on different places, try new food because this is good way to enhance our knowledge about different things and this is beneficial for their future if they visit on that place which they don't know.
In my conclusion, both views have their own pros and cons but in my personal viw, every people should try different things to enhance their knowldge about different culture and tradation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both attitudes and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of cultural exposure versus the comfort of familiarity. However, the development is somewhat repetitive, particularly in the second paragraph where 'get chance' is used repeatedly to explain the benefits of travel. While the position is clear throughout, the supporting arguments could be more sophisticated and varied to reach a higher band. The conclusion effectively summarizes the stance, though it remains somewhat simplistic in its reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are present, such as 'On the one hand', 'Moreover', and 'In my conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or repetitive. For instance, the transition between ideas within paragraphs is occasionally abrupt, and the referencing (e.g., 'that places') is sometimes imprecise, which affects the flow. While the progression of ideas is generally clear, the paragraphing and linking could be more sophisticated to achieve a higher score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks range and precision. There is a reliance on basic, repetitive phrasing such as 'get chance', 'new things', and 'different places'. Spelling errors are frequent, including 'opnion', 'parragraphs', 'billingual', 'recepies', 'peacful', 'thinks', and 'tradation'. These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, though they do not prevent the message from being understood. To improve, you should focus on using a wider variety of synonyms and ensuring accurate spelling of common academic vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'my grandmother prefer', 'she feel'), incorrect article usage, and preposition errors (e.g., 'go on different places' instead of 'go to'). While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar and punctuation limit the score. To progress, you need to focus on subject-verb agreement, correct preposition usage, and proofreading for minor slips in sentence construction.
